Your tasks
- Responsibility for planning, documenting, and conducting tests and measures for system verification and product validation of camera prototypes and camera accessories
- Monitoring the current quality level of software and hardware systems throughout the development process (including by compiling test results)
- Reviewing requirements and specification documents as well as test reports
- Creation of test descriptions for manual and automated test execution
- Responsibility for the documentation, analysis, and reporting of test results
- Support in the planning, documentation, and creation of new test systems
- Shared responsibility for the maintenance of our test systems and laboratories and the calibration of measurement equipment
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a comparable field
- Professional experience in the verification and validation of hardware and software products, preferably in an industrial setting compliant with ISO 9001
- Experience in analog and digital measurement technology, as well as in reliability and certification testing of electronic products
- Experience in setting up and working with Windows- and Linux-based test systems, as well as in script-based test automation using Python
- Knowledge of industrial image processing systems
- Knowledge of established test (management)methods, preferably demonstrated by an ISTQB certificate, and ideally experience in project and quality management
- Fluency in German and English (at least B2 level)
- A process-oriented, independent work style
- Enjoyment of working in a dynamic and international environment
